Abstract:
The sensitivity of 25 peach varieties and 8 nectarine varieties to Sarka(Plum Pox) virus was studied for a period of 9–10 years on trees which were infected in the field, in the area of Central Macedonia.
The table peach varieties JUNE BERTA, RANGER and RIO OSO GEM and the clingstone varieties CORONADO and ANDROSS were found relatively tolerant to Sarka virus.
The nectarine varieties NECTARED No.8. No.6 and No.4 were found also tolerant.
