| Abstract:
In laboratory transmission tests the resistance of peach seedlings to plum pox virus transmission by aphids is associated with the specific resistance of two peach varieties to the aphid vectors. The resistance is specific to the vectors M. persicae and M. varians and its efficiency depends on the morph of M. persicae. Grafting could alter the efficiency of aphid transmission. | |
