Abstract:
19 foreign varieties were tested in collections at 3 sites /Siófok, Cegléd, Helvécia/ of Hungary.
The highest frost hardiness was characteristic of cv.
Bergeron, but in this relation cvs.
Chinese, Screara and Polonais performed well, too.
In the first years after coming into bearing, varieties Bergeron and Polonais were distinguished by high yields and large fruits, Earliril was conspicuous among early-ripening varieties.
