Abstract:
Apricot orchard protection in the Ararat plain conditions is carried out using antio and chlorophos - the phosphate-organic pesticides, and Bordeaux mixture - the copper containing pesticide.
In our experiments, 20 days after apricot orchard treatment, the residual amounts of antio, chlorophos and products of their transformation did not exceed the established admissible levels.
No residual amounts of pesticides (chlorophos and antio), or their metabolites were found in the apricot fruits picked from the industrial orchards that had been treated by a pesticide complex corresponding to industrial growth scheme.
In normalizing the copper containing pesticides residuals one should take into account both the extent of metallic biological activity (as bioelement) and toxicity level of the preparation.
We established that Bordeaux mixture excess, pH increase of its solution, promote the fast detoxication of chlorophos, antio, and their transformation products.
