EFFECT OF SOIL APPLICATION OF CHLOROETHYLPHOSPHONIC ACID UPON THE GROWTH AND YIELD OF TOMATOES

Authors:   M.M.F. Abdallah, A.S. El-Beltagy, M.A. Maksoud, A.R. Smith, M.A. Hall
Abstract:
Tomato plants grown in soil treated with CEPA in general show marked growth retardation. However, branching is enhanced by CEPA and fruit yield is increased in some circumstances. It is demonstrated that CEPA persists in the soil for at least six weeks.
