| Abstract:
This paper describes a fluid drill based on compressed air principle. In this seeder, the carrier gel is delivered to the soil furrow under compressed air. The clumping mechanism of the machine is operated by photoelectrically controlled pneumatic cylinders. This fluid drill can be mounted on the frames of most of the conventional or conservation tillage seeders. Germinated seed of various crops were gel sown with this machine either in continuous rows or in clumps at equidistant spacings. | |
