Abstract:
The Institute of Agricultural Engineering (IMAG), together with the Research Station for Arable Farming and Field Production of Vegetables (PAGV) have initiated and carried out research projects concerning controlled traffic farming systems.
The aim of the projects was to minimize soil structure damage due to soil compaction.
The 3 m wide beds, between permanent traffic lanes for tractors and machinery, are completely free from mechanical forces.
