| Abstract:
A microcomputer was designed to simplify and enhance existing environmental monitoring equipment for making disease predictions. The instrument automatically monitors temperature, wet periods, and rain in the field, analyzes the data using predictive models, and issues disease warnings and possible control strategies. The system is now commercially produced. | |
