Abstract:
After a brief and general review of computer models, simulators are being dealt with in some detail.
A distinction is made between exogenous and endogenous simulators.
Both types are discussed.
The trend towards more complex models with greater realisms and simplicity in structure is referred to.
Monitoring for model inputs is identified as a frequent shortcoming in modeling for decision making, and research.
