Abstract:
At Ullensvang Horticultural Research Station and its substation Skanevik, Western Norway, a collection of 17 black currant cultivars were not sprayed against powdery mildew during the years 1983 – 85. Among the cultivars studied, 'Ben Lomond' and 'Ben Nevis' ranked highest in average yields and showed low susceptibility to powdery mildew. 'Ben Nevis' is recommended for commercial production in Norway.
