| Abstract:
A knowledge of endogenous level of plant hormones in various tissues of fruit plants at different growth stages may afford very important information on the regulation of the fruit production. Systematic qualitative and quantitative analyses of auxin, gibberellins, cytokinins, abscisic acid and brassinosteroids are conducted by combination of several purification processes and physico-chemical procedures such as GC-MS or GC-SIM, using deuterated internal standards. The application of radioimmunoassay in plant growth regulator research is also discussed. | |
