Abstract:
The cv. "Tepo" and the hybrid "Samar" resistant to several pathogens (Verticillium dahliae, Fusarium oxysporum, Tobacco Mosaic Virus - TMV - and nematodes - Meloidogyne spp. -) and susceptible cv. "Marmande", have been cultivated in different protected conditions.
The results show that the disease resistant materials are generally more productive in respect to the susceptible cv. "Marmande", in particular in absence of soil sterilization.
It is also shown that different ways of heating can affect drastically plant production.
