Abstract:
As a final activity of the symposium "Greenhouse climate and its control" an interdisciplinary discussion was programmed.
The aim was to stimulate the discussions between the various disciplines.
Thus the horticulturists, plant physiologists, physisists and control engineers were spread at random over 4 discussion-groups.
The chairmen of the groups had prepared some questions and statements on a few items.
This induced a certain similarity between the different groups but the variation among the participants garanteed a sufficient diversity in views.
Generally discussions are difficult to report.
In this case some specialists were asked to summarize the discussions and to mention interesting statements.
This has been done in such an excellent way that their reports are published rather completely.
Thus accepting that some points are mentioned more than once, this stresses their importance for future developments.
