STUDY OF THE MOVEMENT OF NITROGEN, PHOSPHORUS AND POTASSIUM IN THE SOIL WITH FERTIRRIGATION: A FURTHER CONFERMATION OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF DEEPENING

Abstract:
In order to verify the possible migration of N, P, K in the soil of a fertirrigated nectarine orchard, some soil analysis were carried out. Samples of soil were drawn from several depths and distances from the dropper, near three droppers for each one of the three tests of the trial: the first fertirrigated with a nitrogen solution 30.0.0, the second with the water soluble fertilizer Idronova 21.7.14 + 2 MgO, and the third traditionally fertilized with calcium ammonium nitrate. A total of twelve samples for each dropper was taken.

The analysis of the elements in the soil show a migration, besides of nitrogen and magnesium, also of phosphorus and potassium in the deep layers, especially just below the dropper.

As in the damp zone under the dropper there is an abundant hair of roots, fertirrigation has an agronomic fitness in order to bring fertilizing elements at disposal of the root system.
