| Abstract:
At Gembloux Research Station for Fruit and Vegetable, rootstocks were selected amongst a lot of wild and ornemental cherry trees. Since 1962, propagation, compatibility, frost resistance, vigour, fertility of these rootstocks were experimented with the main cultivars in differents soils conditions. Today three rootstocks GM 61/1, GM 79, GM 9 are patented. They have a precocious fruitsetting and a moderate vigour, thirty to seventy percent of F 12/1. | |
