| Abstract:
X-ray sensitivity of in vitro derived spices and basal segments of micro-shoots of mazzard was determined by using the parameter number of post-irradiation developed shoots and number of surviving explants resp. The x-ray dose producing 50 % radiation damage was calculated as 22 Gy for spices and 29 Gy for basal segments. Details of post-treatment developing shoots were described and discussed with regard to the consequences for mutation induction experiments. | |
