Recent advances in our understanding of the physiology and biochemistry of these events, and of the role of different natural growth regulators in their expression is reviewed.
The anionic silver thiosulfate complex has become an important tool in preventing abscission in ornamental plants.
The action of this material and its practical applications are discussed.
