THE INFLUENCE OF CYTOKININS AND AUXINS ON ALSTROEMERIA IN TISSUE CULTURE |

| Abstract:
The influence of different concentrations of auxins and cytokinins on formation and growth of rhizomes, erect shoots and roots of Alstroemeria cv. Zebra was studied. The stimulatory effect of BA and 2iP on the branching of rhizome and erect shoot formation was observed. The cytokinins inhibited the rooting. The auxins didn't affect the rhizome branching but stimulated the erect shoot growth and rooting. The application of BA - for multiplication and NAA - for rooting of Alstroemeria in vitro is advised. | |
