Abstract:
Recent increases in production of native lowbush blueberries (Vaccinium angustifolium Ait.) in North America has resulted, in part, from vastly improved weed coontrol from the newly registered, broadspectrum herbicide hexazinone.
This report summarizes the efficacy and use pattern of hexazinone and other herbicides presently used in lowbush blueberry culture, including asulan, atrazine, terbacil and several hormone-herbicides.
