| Abstract:
Investigations in commercial blueberry plantations showed that poor bush growth was related to soil physical properties responsible for insufficient aeration. First results from experimental plots showed that drought problems may occur on sandy soils with a low to moderate content of organic matter. Furthermore poor performance of plants on sites previously used for agrcultural crops may be due to a deterioration of soil properties caused by soil management. | |
