Abstract:
CO2 levels as low as 170 vpm have been measured in tomato crops during the summer, even with ventilators open.
Preventing CO2 levels from falling below ambient (335 vpm approx.) from the end of April until the end of the crop was studied on a February planted crop of soil grown tomatoes.
Both treatments had CO2 enrichment to 1000 vpm from planting until the third week of April.
