| Abstract:
Preliminary results of some experimental modified “meadow orchards” in different locations in Spain are presented. The responses of a range of varieties, rootstocks and spacings to different Alar treatments were studied. Using light winter pruning and Alar treatments in summer it has been possible to modify the original concept of the “meadow orchard”, keeping the trees without deheading for four years. | |
