Abstract:
Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cucumerinum, F. solani f.sp. cucurbitae, Pythium ultimum and Phomopsis sclerotioides were recognized as the most important pathogens of greenhouse grown cucumbers in Poland.
During 5 years 345 samples of diseased cucumber plants have been collected in 64 greenhouses and 844 isolates of pathogenic fungi have been obtained.
They belonged to the following genera: Fusarium - 415 isolates.
Pythium - 213, Phomopsis - 147, Phytopthora - 39, Alternaria - 15, Rhizoctonia - 7, Verticillium - 6 and Thielaviopsis - 2 isolates.
