| Abstract:
Cucumbers are of second importance among greenhouse crops grown in Poland. In 1983, greenhouse cucumbers were grown on an area of 707 ha. The paper concerns the main problems connected with greenhouse cucumber growing in Poland, including periods of growing, varieties, methods of growing, yields, etc. Some research works on cucumbers conducted recently in the Institute in Skierniewice and other Polish research institutions are also discussed. | |
