| Abstract:
Through timestudies we are trying to lighten the work in horticulture for the employed, as well as saving time. With our own work, we are still very conservative in the BRD. Very often we are still using difference time disunion and measure with continue times. That means a tremendous load of work is left in the office to be evaluated. At a manufacturer for watches I learned, that the largest amount of sold chronometers are still difference time disunion. With my transfer from Hannover to Mainz I was given the opportunity to equip myself with new instruments. As an assumption I was trying to get a timestudy watch in which I could store as many values as possible. The second topic was, that the calculation from Epsilon had to be automatical. At my new jobsite there was no additional assistance available to me, as I had at the University in Hannover. The 3.rd topic of my reasoning is, that values which did not fit into the measuring reach, concludes that an evaluation could be eliminated. The 4.th topic was, that the measuring date in an ADP environment is available as long as desired. The 5.th topic was, that a protocol of timestudies from single or when desired from continue times could be timed exactly. As topic 6 it was very important to me that all instruments could be used without connection to the power supply. After consideration with a company located near Hannover, which once built a device for Professor Stoffert and me, we decided to construct something similar to that. First we had to find an appropriate computer, which was independent from electric power. This possibility we found in Nov 81 in the Hand Held Computer from Epson. The construction of the timestudy watch was the mission of the company. | |
