| Abstract:
Management by Objectives (MBO) has been discussed at ISHS meetings since 1970. There is a need for objective management in many horticultural businesses yet the formal concept of MBO seems not attractive to many growers. MBO is most likely to evolve in firms which first attempt a simpler change of management style: the paper considers how this might be done. | |
