Authors:   M. Zapata, J. Vera, J. Egea
Abstract:
Little ecological, socioeconomic and memorable changes may produce in very close territories a certain productive and trade specialization in a specific cultivation, as we are going to expose in three bordering territories in Murcia province: Huerta de Murcia, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón-Aguilas littoral area.

The Huerta de Murcia and nearby areas are a superespecialized territory in lemon growing representing provincial 52% on surface. The Campo de Cartagena is hyperespecialized in green pepper (60% provincial). And the Mazarrón-Aguilas littoral in tomato (79% provincial).

It has been observed, in the lemon case the great development of tradicional trade ways (97%). In green pepper, the great development of modern ways: sale at auction in special establishment (alhóndiga) 57% and producers groupped sale 33%. And in tomato, the important role of great producers and trade firms 55% and the groupped sale of producers 17%.
