The last meeting in Zaragoza was combined with the Xth International Symposium on Labour and Labour Management in Horticulture.
The contributions of this part of the conference are also included in this issue.
Due to the combination of both symposia and a strong attendance of horticulturists from the host country the meeting in Zaragoza has brought a record number of 76 communications resp. posters and 146 participants.
The papers and posters are covering a broad spectrum of subjects; however, special emphasis has been given to socio-economic problems of the southward enlargement of the European Community and of the horticultural sector in Spain.
Sincere acknowledgments have to be expressed towards the representatives of the host country, whose strong personal and financial involvement have made the symposium a full success.
