A NON-CONVENTIONAL METHOD OF SUPPORT FOR TOMATO PLANTS (LYCOPERSICON ESCULENTUM)

Abstract:
The most expensive input in tomato production is the support system. Conventional wiring is expensive both in materials and labour. This experiment showed that growing maize (Zea mays) as a support for tomato increases financial returns on a lower input investment.
