| Abstract:
Analyses of perlite and other inert substrates, which are non exchangeable but water retentive substrates, must be treated as if they were hydroponic solutions by first estimating the amount of water in the volume of sample taken for analyses and using the appropriate dilution factor to calculate the nutrient composition of the substrate. | |
