| Abstract:
Temperature influences the number of leaves, lateral shoots, flower bud production and therefore the flower production. However, there is a genetical variation in reaction among different cultivars. This gives possibilities for breeding and selection of Gerberas, which can be grown under low temperature conditions. The growth habit of Gerbera also gives possibilities for heating systems such as soil heating and bench heating. | |
