Abstract:
Uniform rose plants have been subject to monthly spray of different concentrations of Alar, GA, and Ethephon.
The most important results were:
- GA applied at 120 ppm significantly increased the number of flowers per plant.
The same treatment showed the longest flower stem.
The number of leaves was increased by GA application.
- Alar at 600 ppm significantly increased the number of flowers per plant.
Alar also affected the vegetative growth.
- The lower concentrations of Ethephon increased the flowering, and the vegetative growth of the plants.
