| Abstract:
The NFT hydroponic system must provide the entire nutrient supply of the crop in the recirculating nutrient solution for the tomato plants. The experiments were out over four seasons from 1979 through 1983 during the light period that allowed optimum plant growth and fruit production under Indiana conditions. This study was carried out to determine the amounts of N, P, and K that needed to be added daily to maintain the recirculating nutrient solution at levels suitable for proper nutrition of the tomato plant. | |
