ISHS Acta Horticulturae 145: Symposium on the Use of Fertilizers in Protected Vegetable Production

UPTAKE OF PHOSPHATES AT EARLY TOMATO GROWTH AT MINERAL FERTILIZATION OF SOME GREENHOUSE SOILS

Authors:   I. Stoyanova, V. Rankov
Abstract:
In modelled experiments under controlled environment was studied phosphate uptake at early tomato growth of variety Angela at mineral fertilization of soils taken from greenhouse complexes. The study was carried out at fertilization only with 100, 200 and 300 mg P205 and in combination with 200 mg and 300 mg of N/1000 g of soil. It was established that phosphorus fertilization only and combined one with nitrogen results in insignificant changes in weight of plants grown on greenhouse soils. The coefficient of 32p utilization in greenhouse soils both in phosphorus fertilization only and in combined one with nitrogen decreases. This is well pronounced in pseudopodzolic soil.
