| Abstract:
The International Board for Plant Genetic Resources /IBPGR/ stimulates and coordinates activities on genetic resources all over the world. His executive secretariat is at FAO headquarters. Since 1983, the European Cooperative Programme for the Conservation and Exchange of Crop Genetic Resources /ECP/GR/ is part of IBPGR. Due to a rising interest for medicinal and aromatic plants among European countries, the ECP/GR - Phase II has been requested to initiate activities in this field. | |
