| Abstract:
The present vegetable seed situation in the Sudan is reviewed and the country's potential for vegetable seed production is outlined. The agronomic requirements and infrastructure needed to set up a proposed scheme to provide significant quantities of high quality vegetable seeds for priority crops is given. A proposed outline programme covering an initial three year period to achieve significant vegetable seed quantities of the major vegetables is discussed. | |
