Abstract:
Pests and diseases are inflicting heavy damages on vegetables crops in Sudan.
At present pesticides application is very much high lighted upon while other simple useful means are somewhat neglected.
Future policy must concentrate on all possible means of control.
The geographical distribution of vegetables areas and other practical factors make the role of vegetables farmers in combating pests and diseases inevitable and their participation must be encouraged by all possible means.
