Abstract:
A bio-economic simulation model for planning and control in greenhouse production is introduced.
It takes into account the biologic and engineering aspects of the production as well as the economic ones, i.e. the variety of growing techniques, labour methods and of the technical equipment.
The core of the simulation is formed by four submodels: the calculation of indoor climate, heating energy, growth and of man and machine hours.
These modules are subsequently called up during the simulation.
As input on the one hand uncontrollable data like weather and prices, on the other hand controllable data like the cropping system and the production factors enter the model.
Some details for the radish crop are discussed.
