SOILLESS MEDIA IN ROSE CULTURE UNDER THE PLASTIC TUNNEL

Abstract:
The effect of following media: composted pine bark, composted pine bark+peat moss (1:1), composted pine bark+ +loam soil, brown coal and control (soil+peat+cow manure 1:1:1) on the yield of four rose cultivars (Sonia, Carina, Ilona, Casanova) was tested. The largest number of flowers was obtained from composted bark mixed with loam soil (1:1). A smaller but on the some level was the yield from composted bark, brown coal and control. Using brown coal ash as a fertilizer is discused.
