Author:   B. Galambosi
Abstract:
The development of the primary cultivation technology of the wildflower medicinal plants is to be carried out on the basis of the following four aspects:
  • methods of the safe mass multiplication,
  • mechanization of the most important elements of cultivation,
  • methods of the care of plants,
  • economy of the cultivation technology.

The primary cultivation technology of three wildflower medicinal plants / Marrubium vulgare L., Artemisia annua L. and Artemisia absinthium L. / has been evolved on taking into account the above aspects on the basis of a series of experiments carried out for several years. The author presents his experience gathered during the introduction of the cultivation method and describes the detailed cultivation technology on large scale for each of the above mentioned plant types.
