Abstract:
Using techniques of transmission electron microscopy mycoplama-like bodies were observed in association with Blossom Anomaly (BA) of sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.). The bodies were present in mature sieve tube elements of diseased peduncles but not in healthy controls.
The bodies ranged from .12uM to .49uM in diameter.
