| Abstract:
A short bibliographycal examination on Gnomonia erythrostroma f.c. Libertina stipata showed that this fungus was discovered in 1837 (Libert) and have been studied by several research workers. The investigations carried out at Fruit Research Station Bihor during 1978–1981 had in view the fungus pathology, its morphological and physiological characteristics, biology and evolution as well as the efficient and economic control methods suitable for apricot culture. Frequency, intensity and fungus damage level were examined at 8 apricot varieties and 57 hybrids in the field trials. | |
