PECULIARITIES OF APRICOT PLANTS FUNCTIONAL INJURIES AT VARIOUS MOISTURE LEVEL

Abstract:
The presence of water in wintering plants tissue, peculiarities of it distribution, relation to cell structures components predetermines plants resistance to the effect of low temperatures and the process of ice formation in plants cells. There was shown the possibility of water condition change and bioalcoloids hydration peculiarities of protoplasm in winter predetermining ice formation frost resistance rate of various tissues by limited moistening and optimum soil moisture in autumn the content of free water in fruit plants tissues in winter increases and the rate of frost resistance of bark parenhyma cells, cambium, trunk and twig cambium zone decrease.

The route of ice cristallization at freezing, the speed of ice formation and plants death critical temperatures change (Solovieva, 1975, 1978).

Fruit plants on various water regime level is expressed in complicated and different changes of its functional activity.

Timiriazjev (1892), Maximov (1929), Henkel (1946), Protsenko (1958), Alexeiev (1948), Kushnirenko (1967), Pustovoitova (1978) Beletskaja (1979) and others studied physiology of cultivated plants water exchange and drought - resistance formation.

Plants adaptations studies allow Henkel (1967) to work out method of plants drought - resistance promotion and show that in hardened plants the protein synthesizing system is more stable than in nonhardened ones. High water exchange stability and proteins cytoplasm heterogeneity were noted by Kushnirenko (1975). Under conditions of drought balanced interaction of growth phytohormons disturbs. In resistance plants specific protective responses are initiated.
