| Abstract:
A review is given of all the factors known to affect the dormancy of apple seeds, the possible mechanisms through which they operate and the way in which their actions are controlled by the hormone balance. An integrated scheme is suggested which incorporates all the known factors and processes involved in dormancy removal. | |
