CONCLUDING ADDRESS OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CZECHOSLOVAK NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITTEE |

| Abstract:
It's time to finish this meeting, i.e. the 3rd International Symposium on Apricots and Apricot Culture which was opened six days ago. I can say with satisfaction, like all of you, that we had a very good meeting, we fulfilled our program. I would like to ask you in the name of the Czechoslovak National Organizational Committee to excuse us, if `we did not keep some points exactly or if we did not satisfy everyone, although we tried to do so. I would like to thank especially those who more or less voluntarily contributed to the success of the Symposium and namely to the documentarists of the Botanical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and to the students. We also need to heartily thank the staff of the Horticultural Faculty in Lednice na Morave, but especially to Professor Miloslav Vávra, and Ing Vachůn, for their collaboration in organizing this Symposium and for the the very pleasant milieu here. Our good-bye party with melodies of Moravian folk-songs was a culminant expression of the friendship between the delegates from many nations. I hope that our future collaboration and co-operation will develop in the same atmosphere. The Symposium's content may be summed up in the following points:
