REGIONAL ESTIMATION OF HEATING REQUIREMENTS OF GREENHOUSES |

| Abstract:
Introducing semi empirical relations in the analysis of greenhouse energy balance allows estimation of heating requirements on a monthly basis from local climatological data. Separate estimations of energy losses by conduction, convection and radiation allows orientation of the investigations of energy saving techniques according to the local climatological peculiarities. Advances in the understanding of energy exchange phenomena between the greenhouse and its environment will improve the heating requirement model and allow its use on a daily or hourly basis. So it will be possible to estimate the power of heating apparatus. | |
