Author:   Zarko V. Tesovic
Abstract:
The fruits of 35 seedlings originating from Mount Maljen, 60 seedlings from Mount Zeljin, 24 seedlings from Mount Djeravica, 134 seedlings from Mount Hajla and 63 seedlings from Mount Vizitor were tested for the presence of anthocyanins.

Cyanidin-3-glucoside (Cy-3-Gl) was present in the fruits of 100.0%, 98.3%, 100.0%, 99.2%, and 96.8% of seedlings originating from Mount Maljen, Mount Zeljin, Mount Djeravica, Mount Hajla and Mount Vizitor, respectively.

Cyanidin-3-rutinoside (Cy-3-Ru) was present in the fruit of 82.9%, 91.7%, 12.5%, 93.3%, and 87.3% of seedlings originating from Mount Maljen, Mount Zeljin, Mount Djeravica, Mount Hajla and Mount Vizitor, respectively.

Cyanidin-3-sophoroside (Cy-3-Sop) was present in the fruit of 100.0%, 98.3%, 100.0%, 97.0%, and 98.2% of seedlings originating from Mount Maljen, Mount Zeljin, Mount Djeravica, Mount Hajla and Mount Vizitor, respectively.

Cyanidin-3-glucosylrutinoside (Cy-3-GlRu) was present in the fruit of 91.4%, 100.0%, 52.5%, 97.0%, and 95.2% of seedlings originating from Mount Maljen, Mount Zeljin, Mount Djeravica, Mount Hajla and Mount Vizitor, respectively.

Another three different anthocyanins were detected, but they have not been identified yet.
