Abstract:
Primary flower symptoms of tulip mosaic were, by experimental transmission (by aphids and also by sap), produced in the tulip varieties 'Brilliant Star', 'Danton', 'Robinea' and 'Rose Copland'.
The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse using forced tulips.
The most effective transmission was obtained in March and in April, where almost all the tulips were infected and showed flower breaking.
