| Abstract:
A collection of Gloriosa has been gathered at Versailles fron European and African Botanic Gardens, and fron commercial growers. We have determined the chromosome numbers of twelve species and hybrids of Gloriosa. The base number of 11 was confirmed and series of di-, hexa-, hepta- and octoploid plants determined. | |
